Creation Designation: Stampede

Stampede is a special kind of bot created to care for young (both cybertronian sparklings and visiting young from allied planets). His protoform was lost at some point during the last years of the war and was refound by the crew of The Unsettled and onlined. He's since made fast friends with the other two young bots on the ship, Acari-1 and Blackharvest. Because he's programmed to take care of young bots, he's often the voice of reason of his group and the one to put himself on the line to keep the others safe.

Stampede is a very expressive bot, having very little control of his facial features (as his face was designed to be simple and expressive to help calibrate sparklings facial recognition), which means he is a horrendous liar. He also can't curse. He's a decently sized bot, about 26 feet tall counting his horns, but has very little fighting ability, again because he's made to be around young. His main form of self defence are his large horns and thick silicon like padding around his body acting as armour. He also has a large cavity in his midsection that can be used for storage or to hold others in during emergencys (Blackharvest and Elita-1 have hitched a ride in his many times).

Because so much of his frame and functioning is tied up in being a good caretaker, Stampede feels conflicted over who he is as a bot. He likes to care and be there for his friends, yes, but he also knows he's programmed to like caring for bots. The philosophy behind his being stresses him out. Because he has the least trauma around politics of his little group and so places himself firmly in neutral on Autobot/Decepticon issues, prefering to deal with smaller interpersonal issues. Some day he'd like to travel the universe with Acari-1 and Blackharvest, explore and discover and really be able to come into his own somewhere far away.
