Cybertronian's interpersonal relatinships are just as complex and wild as you would expect the relationships of million year old alien robots would be. Luckily, they tend to fall into relationship patterns that humans are familiar with. They form friendships, romantic relationships, enemies, etc. The three main terms humans would need to familiarize themselves with are Amica Endura, Conjux Endura and Trines.

Amica Endura refers to a close, long terms platonic relationship between Cybertronians and/or Camiens, typically recognized by law. Again, for a species that lives for millions or billions of years, 'long term' really means Long Term. You also can't just say youre Amica Endura, on both planets, it requires a particular ritual in which a bot bears their spark to another, inviting them to connect together and understand eachother and explain how much they mean to eachother. Amicas are very important to Cybertronians, to the point of forming one being expected of most bots by a certain age and keeping up with your Amica and keeping the relationship strong is a sign of one's strength and character. Camien's also put a lot of weight into Amica Endura's, but aren't nearly as strict about them.

Conjux Endura on the other hand, refers to the Cybertronian equivalent of a spouse, a strong, commited romantic bond recognized by law. A COnjux bond is made through the Conjux Ritus, a ritual that includes four acts of affection and mutual kindness done together. What these acts include varies from region to region, but traditionally, of of them would be to not just bare one's spark, but sparkbond with one's significant other. Conjuxing is special not just because of the feelings and devotion inherent to it, but because sparkbonding connects two bots sparks inextricably, even after death. With this bond, among other things, the Conjuxed bots will be able to feel eachothers emotions and be effected by their physical feelings. In some circles, notably in Decepticon ranks, consorting one's significant other instead of conjuxing has become popular, notably to stop a Conjux bond from disabilitation both bots if one is injured or dead and to be able to save one's conjuxing for when they're able to "reclaim Cybertron". Lugnut and Strika are one of these consorted couples.

Trines, the most dissimilar to most human relationships, is the term for the the natural, instictive relationship that forms between three flyers and the military grouping of three flyers together. A naturally formed trine can be have any mixture of relationships within them, platonic, romantic, familial, etc. between the three members, though it's common for trines to be purely romantic, platonic or familial. In military settings, it's nto uncommon for unconnected fliers to develop strong feelings for each other once placed into a trine together. Sparkbonding is common among trines, leading to increased coordination in military settings, as well as worse casualties when one member is downed or killed, as the sparkbond will effect the other members of the trine as well.
